The Queensland Veterans’ Council is an independent statutory body established to:
- provide advice to the Queensland Government on veterans’ matters;
- hold and manage Anzac Square and its Memorial Galleries;
- administer the Anzac Day Trust Fund.
The Veterans’ Reference Group is an advisory group established to support the Queensland Veterans’ Council by providing avenues for direct consultation with the veterans’ community to inform advice to the Queensland Government on veterans’ matters.
